Windows - Installing the Horizon Softphone Client

To use the phone system from home, you will need to install a software client.

You will receive two emails from noreply@unlimitedhorizon.co.uk to providing you with information on how to connect.

The first one will let you know your username, this is shown below:

The second one will provide you with your client password as shown below:

If the following link does not work, you will need to log in to your online horizon account to download your client using the link in the first email, you received.

This will take you to the following page:

Once here you will need to login using the username provided in the first email.

Once logged in you will be taken to the next page:

Once here you will need to click on the image below to download the client:

Once the file has been downloaded you will need to install it. The file will likely be in your downloads folder.

 

The file will be called Horizon.win-21.5.3.103.exe, you will need to double-click on this to install it. And begin the setup process below:

 

You will need to click the next button to begin. This will take you to the License Agreement page.

You will need to click 'I Agree' to proceed to the second License Agreement page.

Where you will need to click 'I Agree' again. Once you have done this you will be take to the install options page, please ensure that the following options are ticked.

Clicking next will take you to the installation location. Which you will need to leave as default.

After clicking next you will be taken to the Startup Menu options which you should again leave to default.

You will need to then click on the 'Install' button to begin the installation process. Once that process has been completed the screen will be as below:

Clicking Next will take you to the following screen. You will need to ensure that the Start Horizon now option is ticked.

Clicking the Finish button will then start the Horizon Softphone client.

You will need to use the username provided to you in the first email, and the pass-code provided in the second email.

Once you have done this tick the Remember Password and Sign-In automatically options, and then click on the 'Sign In' button. You will then be provided with the following popup:

You will need to click on Allow Access. Once you have done this the Horizon Softphone client will load as shown below, and will be set to boot automatically when you start your computer.
