‘Pause/Resume calls’ records all calls by default, but allows a user to enter a short-code to pause calls (*3) if they need to stop recording when taking a client’s Credit or Debit card details, and then dial a second short-code (*7) to resume recording once this has been completed and the recording of the call is required again. ‘Pause/Resume calls’ is the setting that is turned on by default as part of the setup process.
